I for one, am a huge fan of Alex Guarnaschelli in many different aspects. Her presence on The Food Network showcases her as a culinary badass with a heart of gold, especially on shows like “Chopped” and “The Next Iron Chef”, to which she won the latter years ago. She also has an amazing restaurant called “Butter”, which I had the utmost pleasure to review and had an amazing time at. Alex has let us in to her favorite recipes on shows like “Alex’s Day Off”, but one recipe she has yet to let us in on is what she would like her last meal on earth to be? The answer might surprise you. [Read more…] about What Would Butter’s Alex Guarnaschelli’s Last Meal on Earth Be?
The Art of Shaving Keeps Your Face Looking Fresh & Tight in NYC
Seeing as we went from winter to summer here in New York City pretty rapidly, it gave a ton of men very little time to adjust their shaving and skin regiment, especially with the overt sweating we have been dealing with for the past week or so. Look no further, than The Art of Shaving. [Read more…] about The Art of Shaving Keeps Your Face Looking Fresh & Tight in NYC

Davio’s Northern Italian Steakhouse Lights up Midtown East
When it comes to dining in Manhattan, there are three aspects to the meal that I always look for in order for it to be a success. One is the location, two is the decor and hospitality, and three is the execution of the overall meal. There have been several restaurants that have accomplished all three things in my eyes at Manhattan Digest, and I have another one to add to that after finishing my meal there Friday night. This is Davio’s Northern Italian Steakhouse, which is located right outside Grand Central Station at 447 Lexington Avenue. A Manhattanite in Amsterdam- What… A Trip!
Guest Contributor: Sarah Presley
When you’re waiting in line to buy a gram of weed from behind a wooden counter with a bunch of other customers and you’re from New York, chances are you’re going to feel like a bit of a narc. Not that you want to snitch on anyone else who’s in line let alone the vendor—just that you will almost inevitably squirm on the inside from being conditioned to think of weed as, nowadays, at least less than legal.
