Drag Brunch Sashays Through Hard Rock Cafe with Shangela & More!

Although I tend to avoid Times Square like the plague, there is the rare exception that I will make as something has to happen in order for me to drag my ass there.  “Drag” is exactly the reason for heading to 43rd and Broadway yesterday, where the iconic Hard Rock Cafe introduced their incredible Drag Brunch on the lower level of the location.  Presented by Voss Events, the event was hosted by the amazing Shequida and for 90 minutes became an eleganza extravaganza in so many different ways. Lumberjack App- Find Your Next Boyfriend in Manhattan and Beyond

Racism in the Bear Community: Where Are We Now?

A little over three years ago I penned an article about racism in the bear community, and essentially how prevalent it really was at that point.  The article led to an endless discussion about said racism, in particular the debate of “preference vs. prejudice” when it comes to finding a desired mate for fun or relationship.  Given that race relations in this country has become a hot buttoned issue yet again due to the unfortunate presence of Donald Trump and his followers, it begs the question to examine this issue internally and see if there have been any strides made since my original article’s inception.
