The 2016 Tony Awards nominations are in, and boy is it going to be a big night for Hamilton! With 16 nominations total, they have broken the record for most nominations in one year. A Unique Take on Breakfast at The Kitano Midtown
Who doesn’t love brunch? It is freaking delicious! The problem with breakfast in New York City sometimes is that it tends to be the same type of dishes (Bacon, Egg & Cheese, French Toast, Eggs Benedict, etc) that tend to be repeated to the point where originality is out the door and you are having the same thing over and over again. If you are looking for a great twist to your everyday breakfast, look no further than The Kitano Hotel’s wonderful spread, located right inside their fabulous Murray Hill location. What Stars Shined the Most at the 2016 Met Gala?
If there was a Super Bowl for fashion, it isn’t the Oscars, Grammys or even the CMA’s (lol), it is the annual Met Gala, which took place last night at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. This is where the biggest stars in the world bring out their style guns for everyone to see, gag, admire, and every other adjective of jealousy to which they are dressed to the nines in. Everyone from Beyonce to Taylor Swift and so many more showed up in the best of the best, but question is… who do we think were the belles of the ball? RuPaul’s Drag Race Recap- And Then There Were Three…
Filling in for David this week as he is sickening! No he’s just not feeling well boo boos. My turn to throw the shade mwhahaha! Last week, we finally saw some basic impersonator go home who should’ve left after he walked into the werk room the first episode. Nevertheless, he and his receding hairline are gone, and now we are down to an amazing top 4. Each have possessed some seriously strong skill sets throughout the season, and this might possibly be their strongest and most likable top 4 ever. Travel Idea! Stay at The Omni Providence in Rhode Island
As someone who has primarily lived in New York his entire life, the only other place that I can call home to a certain degree is Providence, Rhode Island, where I attended college for five years. Providence has the convenience of being wedged between New York City and Boston and even though is a smaller city than both, it makes up for it with its charm, beauty and endless amounts of fun things to do. If you are planning on heading to Providence in the upcoming weeks or months, or even want to stop by and experience all it has to offer, one place that I highly recommend checking into is The Omni Providence, located right in the heart of the city on W. Exchange Place. [Read more…] about Travel Idea! Stay at The Omni Providence in Rhode Island
There Needs to be Mutual Respect Between Older & Younger Gay Men
As someone who has been part of the bear and gay community as a whole for twelve years now, I have seen a bevy of trends come and go in our culture, yet there is a constant that remains throughout it and that is an incredible lack of respect from younger and older gay men to each other that needs to stop immediately. Seeing as we can be a culture that hardly comes together as a community with how vicious we can be, it can be something as simple as this that can break these walls downs and we can unite better as a culture. Pulling Out: Rocco Steele’s Big 2nd Act
Almost two years ago, I was perusing the Twitter world when someone retweeted a picture from another handle that showcased a stunning man in all of his glory. That man was named Rocco Steele, and at that point he was a newcomer in the industry that possessed a ton of charisma, looks, appeal and so much more that was very much needed at that point. Nearly two years later he has taken all of those characteristics and used them to the best of his advantage, dominating the industry like no one has seen in years, and now is ready for the next phase in his career to begin. One on One with Red Hot Recording Artist Miesa
It is hard to find anything in the music industry, as of late, with any type of substance or real talent behind it outside of the sugar gum pop that is dominating the airwaves today. It takes a special artist to really get our attention in the best way possible, that possesses the voice, looks, and overall charisma to really put themselves in the forefront of our minds and making us hit repeat over and over again on that one or two particular songs we love of them. That can be said about the incredibly talented and one of the bright new stars of this generation, Miesa. [Read more…] about One on One with Red Hot Recording Artist Miesa
