Katherine Schwarzenegger- on T.J. Maxx’s “Road to Real” Tour

by Whitney Gentile

Women, all across America, and of all ages, love T.J. Maxx. (A store where you can buy inexpensive gym clothes, cute new high heeled boots, a dress for that wedding we’re dreading going to, AND a new spatula cuz the last one broke, and the cost will end up around $100, total? What’s not to like?) When I go visit my mom in Texas, or my grandmother in North Carolina, it’s a safe bet that we’ll end up in a T.J. Maxx at one point. My mother will mention there’s a new one somewhere near my hometown almost every time I go visit. (There’s a building here in New York City that has both a T.J. Maxx AND a Marshall’s inside of it. It’s basically my favorite building on the whole of Manhattan island.) I have never yet met a woman who dislikes being a “Maxxinista”. We love it. We are normal women. Everyday women, living very different, but still everyday lives, but we all love it. [Read more…] about Katherine Schwarzenegger- on T.J. Maxx’s “Road to Real” Tour

What Stars Shined the Most at the 2016 Met Gala?

by Ryan Shea

If there was a Super Bowl for fashion, it isn’t the Oscars, Grammys or even the CMA’s (lol), it is the annual Met Gala, which took place last night at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.  This is where the biggest stars in the world bring out their style guns for everyone to see, gag, admire, and every other adjective of jealousy to which they are dressed to the nines in.  Everyone from Beyonce to Taylor Swift and so many more showed up in the best of the best, but question is… who do we think were the belles of the ball? Nasty Pig Unveils Sexy S&S Collection in Chelsea

by Ryan Shea

Nasty Pig
has become a huge force in the fashion industry for its great and colorful designs, not to mention how well they look on a men’s body.  With ads prominently featured on RuPaul’s Drag Race and seen all over New York City, its no surprise that this booming company keeps rolling out new items for men to gag over and for other men to gush over when they see these men wear their apparel.  That statement couldn’t be truer than this past Saturday, when Nasty Pig threw a fantastic party to celebrate the unveiling of their S&S collection at their flagship store in Chelsea. One on One with Leota New York Founder Sarah Carson

by Danielle Flocco

Fashion and New York City go together like Peanut Butter & Jelly in so many different ways, and it is always an incredible thing to see a brand go from zero to 180 in such a short amount of time when developing what they are doing and having a great response from it.  That can be said about the amazing brand called Leota.  Launched only five years ago, retailers took notice of what makes this line so special and great in their easy-to-wear fabrics, fashion-forward silhouettes and so much more.  Whether you are looking for a beautiful dress to enjoy in the springtime, or want to rock a maternity dress in style, Leota has you covered.  Carried not only in its New York City base but in over 300 fine retailers nationally, Leota promises to craft each dress for a woman’s body with a touch of glamour that will leave you feeling stunning and happy.  We recently spoke to their fabulous founder, Sarah Carson, about how this all began and so much more.
