Boulton & Watt: People Should Come Here Just for the Cookie…

Right where Houston becomes East 1st Street at the corner of Avenue A sits Boulton & Watt, a restaurant/bar that’s decked out in brick and wood and looks right at home in its young professional-filled neighborhood. When I entered on a Thursday evening in early May, the after work crowd mingled with birthday partygoers, clogging up the space by the bar. The establishment is big enough to accommodate standing groups of loud twenty-somethings as well as other diners, all mostly of the younger set but a couple of older men in suits and a family were sprinkled in with the dining crowd. Times Square Has Zero Appeal Anymore… Tourists Wake Up
